Cairo Egypt Wedding Photographer | Randhir and Yasmine Marry at the Fairmont at Nile City | Timothy Kaldas Photography

You know what you should do when you plan your wedding? Plan for it to be outside in the DAY TIME! Please! Do you know why, because it’s so awesome to shoot in natural light and it will show in your photographs. In this particular case it also helps that Randhir and Yasmine are awesome. I met Randhir  several months ago. He called me and told me I had to be their wedding photographer so we met up at the Marriott to discuss the wedding. We actually spent most of the time talking about life and politics over a beer, but we did spend 5 or 6 minutes on the wedding too;-)Randhir and Yasmine treated me like a true friend from the outset. They invited me to a small party with their friends who had arrived in Cairo for the wedding in the days before the wedding. The two met while working for the UN in sub-Saharan Africa. Randhir himself is from Sri Lanka. The wedding party was a cool mix of people from just about everywhere. I always want to thank Amr Hosny for doing a fantastic job keeping the party going and my assistants Remon Michael and Ahmed Soliman for all their help throughout the night. I’d also like the tailor at the Fairmont for sowing the background for the photobooth to the stands so that it could withstand the crazy wind on the rooftop.

Tim, looks like a seriously off-the-chain wedding. Love the emotion that comes across in the speeches and dancing. Dreamy couple portraits too.

I love your black and whites, especially that brown-toned one of the bride and groom walking in together. Really beautiful.

Wow, i don’t think you got one shot where the bride and groom didn’t have the biggest smiles ever. You really captured their happiness & the emotions of the day.
